The Inventory Specialist plays a key role in managing and maintaining accurate inventory records in compliance with both company standards and state regulations. This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to accuracy while meeting deadlines. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, organized, and capable of handling multiple responsibilities efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support inventory control processes in accordance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
• Record and track all inventory from production into systems such as METRC or other state-mandated platforms
• Ensure proper labeling and organization of all inventory items
• Conduct routine physical inventory checks and audits to maintain accuracy
• Coordinate with supervisors and managers on inventory levels and packaging schedules
• Track and document movement of inventory into finished goods ready for sale
• Process orders, prepare documentation, and assist with product transfers and fulfillment
• Serve as a point of contact for sales representatives during transactions
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within inventory storage areas
• Report any damaged, defective, or inconsistent products to management
• Communicate discrepancies in product quantity or quality promptly
• Perform additional duties as assigned based on operational needs

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in inventory, logistics, or a related field (food or beverage industry experience preferred)
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and tools such as Google Workspace and Slack
• Familiarity with Jira or other workflow/management platforms is a plus
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
• Ability to travel occasionally between work sites
• Strong sense of confidentiality when handling sensitive information
• Must be at least 21 years of age as per state regulations
• Food Handler’s Card or ServSafe certification is preferred
• Willingness to undergo background screening
• Ability to obtain required state permits, licenses, and certifications
