Role Overview

As a Frontend Engineer at Maxima, you’ll build intuitive user interfaces for advanced accounting workflows.

This role involves close collaboration with product, design, and backend engineers. You may also be working with customers directly to drive the release of new features. In addition to technical expertise, we value engineers who care deeply about user experience, as you’ll have ownership and strong influence on our product direction as well.

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years building product at high-growth companies

• Familiarity with web development and relational databases

• Strong experience with Typescript, React, Redux, or similar frameworks

• Strong understanding of React lifecycles and rendering lifecycles

• Good sense on product and user experience

• Loves in-person culture, we are 5 days a week in office in downtown San Mateo
