Senior .NET C# Mobile Developer - Cross-Platform GIS & Mapping Applications

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-performance native and cross-platform mobile applications using C# .NET, Xamarin, and MAUI to meet diverse user requirements
• Create responsive and intuitive user interfaces for mobile, desktop, and web-based GIS systems
• Architect and implement cross-platform app building technology and frameworks for mapping solutions
• Collaborate within an Agile development team to build feature-rich, modernized applications using C# .NET
• Develop enterprise software solutions for field mapping, data collection, sensor networks, street navigation, and location-based services
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including programmers, designers, and product managers throughout the software development lifecycle
• Define user requirements and design robust applications and APIs for mobile devices and web-based services
• Ensure ArcGIS software integration meets real-world usage scenarios and industry standards
• Solve complex technical challenges related to application architecture, mobile development, and user experience design
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous integration processes using GitHub, Jenkins, and Microsoft App Center

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional commercial software development experience
• Expert-level proficiency in .NET C# programming with demonstrable passion for the technology
• Proven experience with Xamarin, Xamarin Forms, and/or MAUI for cross-platform mobile development
• Hands-on experience building and consuming JSON, XAML/XML, and RESTful Web Services
• Strong aptitude for user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design principles
• Demonstrated expertise in cross-platform app development for iOS and Android
• Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, and software design patterns
• Experience with version control and CI/CD tools including GitHub, Jenkins, and Microsoft App Center
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in team environments and deliver quality software in agile, fast-paced settings
• Excellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), or related technical field

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, GIS, or related discipline
• Experience with Telerik UI for .NET
• Native mobile application development experience for iOS and Android platforms
• Background in GIS, mapping applications, or location-based services
• Familiarity with spatial data formats and geospatial technologies

Compensation

Annual Salary: $140,000 - $190,000 USD, commensurate with experience and qualifications
