Front Desk Receptionist - Dental Office
Duties:
- Greet patients warmly and manage the check-in process to ensure a positive first impression.
- Schedule appointments efficiently using dental office management systems, ensuring optimal patient flow.
- Handle patient inquiries regarding services, insurance coverage, and billing in a professional manner.
- Maintain accurate patient records and update information as necessary in practiceworks software.
- Process payments and assist with dental billing and coding tasks as needed.
- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless communication regarding patient care.
- Manage phone calls, emails, and other correspondence related to scheduling and patient care.
- Ensure the front desk area is organized and welcoming for patients.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a clinic or dental office setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with dental billing, coding, and insurance processes is an asset.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in administrative tasks.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
- A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and patient satisfaction.
