Job Description and Duties

Under the supervision of a Sergeant, the custodian will perform a variety of custodial duties to include but not limited to the following: sweeping, scrubbing, mopping, spot cleaning, and waxing floors. Additional responsibilities include cleaning, dusting, and polishing all cabinets, furniture, and woodwork; emptying and cleaning waste receptacles; cleaning restrooms, ceilings, walls, light fixtures, windows, and blinds. Assist in moving and arranging furniture and equipment as required, polish metalwork, refill restroom dispensers, operate floor polishing equipment and machinery; maintain janitorial supplies and restroom products, and perform other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions

This position works up to a maximum of 16 hours per month.
