We are seeking an Experience Civil Litigation Assistant (minimum 5 years of civil litigation in California) to become a part of our team. You will be responsible for calendaring, tasking, drafting subpoenas, pleadings, motions, deposition summaries, medical summaries and pleadings and be part of our dynamic trial team. This role is full-time and can be performed remotely , in the office or a hybrid of the two.

Responsibilities:

• Working in a Team Environment
• Handle cases from inception through trial with strong office support
• Work on challenging and high-profile lawsuits
• Creating intelligent and creative defenses in complex catastrophic injury cases
• ​​ Qualifications:
• Substantial experience preparing subpoenas
• Experience drafting medical and deposition summaries
• Previous experience in law with interest in employment Civil Litigation
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to build rapport with clients
• Excellent written and verbal
• Excellent writing skills
• Strong ability to multitask and complete task within court deadlines and internal deadlines

Environment:

• The atmosphere of the office is friendly, supportive and passionate about defending its clients. The firm is looking for a paralegal with 5-15 years of experience in civil litigation.

The salary for this position will be based upon the candidates experience, but can range from $65,000 - $100,000.
