Quick Position Facts!

Location: San Diego, CA at our wonderful G2 Ops office and customer site

Work Setting: In person, some remote opportunity, and/or flexible working hours, not a fully remote position

Looking to Start: September 2025

Salary Range: $100,000 - $145,000 plus benefits

Knowledge Requirements:

• Experience designing intuitive, user-friendly interfaces for dashboards and data pipelines
• Strong skills in enhancing layout, readability, and visual appeal of Slate visualizations (or similar tools)
• Ability to gather, interpret, and implement feedback from end-users and stakeholders
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and ensuring consistent design across products
• Experience creating reusable templates, style guides, and design documentation
• Proficiency with front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and relevant frameworks)
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including developers and product owners
• Agile Developer Certification or Certified Scrum Developer Certification

Years of Industry Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience

Security Clearance Requirement: Must be able to obtain and maintain Active DoD Secret Clearance

Let's talk salary. The annual salary range for this position is $100,000 and goes up to $145,000, based on your qualifications. We also offer a competitive benefits package and have fringe benefits offered throughout the year. The benefits package value ranges from $13,000 for a single employee, and up to $28,000 for an employee and their family. With company standard annual performance reviews in place, plus excellence awards for recognition, your performance will be rewarded and appreciated, we promise!

Due to the classification level of the projects we support, we are not able to offer fully remote opportunities at this time. As a Defense Contractor, we are frequently working with sensitive material, and therefore, we need to ensure where you access your work is secure.

You will have a shiny desk at our G2 Ops office, plus the opportunity to work at a military site directly with our customers (this is a good thing!). We do allow teleworking with prior approval, but supporting the DoD, you will be required to work at a military site as well.

This exciting position will have the chance to work on just about any aspect there is as it pertains designing and enhancing intuitive, user-friendly interfaces for dashboards, data pipelines, and visualizations. This includes improving the layout and readability of Slate visualizations, implementing user feedback, ensuring accessibility and consistency across products, and developing reusable templates and style guides to support a cohesive user experience.

Lastly, as we are working for the DoD, we are beholden to some requirements. The ideal candidate would already possess an active DoD Secret level clearance and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or other related scientific or technical disciplines.
