Aloha! Shaka Shack Alameda is hiring for a Weekend Barista / Cashier.
You’ll be taking orders, making drinks, running food, and helping with dishes when needed. We’re a tight knit Ohana in a tiny kitchen, so everyone helps with a little bit of everything. We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys talking to and helping customers, has strong attention to detail, and thrives in a fast paced environment. Weekends can get busy, so we need someone who can keep their cool and maintain the aloha spirit under pressure.
What you’ll be doing:
- Making espresso and other drinks consistently and efficiently
- Running food quickly and accurately
- Jumping on dishes and keeping things clean
- Helping out wherever needed during a rush
- Taking care of customers and creating a great experience
- Helping the team clean up at the end of the day
What we’re looking for:
- Reliable. Shows up on time, every time
- Proactively looks for ways to improve the customer experience
- Team player who jumps in and helps without being asked
- Positive attitude, even when it’s busy
