Position Summary
We are seeking a Senior Executive Compensation Consultant to join our Human Resources team at a confidential technology client. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing executive compensation strategies and programs that align with business objectives and market competitiveness. The successful candidate will serve as a subject matter expert in executive pay practices, providing strategic counsel to senior leadership and the Board of Directors on compensation matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and manage executive compensation programs including base salary, incentives, equity, and benefits
- Conduct market benchmarking analyses and competitive pay studies to ensure executive compensation remains aligned with industry standards
- Develop and present compensation recommendations to the Board of Directors and senior leadership
- Ensure compliance with securities regulations, tax laws, and corporate governance requirements related to executive compensation
- Analyze compensation data and trends to identify opportunities for program optimization and cost management
- Partner with Finance, Legal, and other departments to implement compensation decisions and process payouts
- Provide guidance on executive employment agreements, change-of-control provisions, and severance arrangements
- Stay current on compensation legislation, regulatory changes, and industry best practices
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in executive compensation, total rewards, or related human resources discipline
- Deep knowledge of executive compensation program design, including equity, incentives, and benefits
- Demonstrated expertise in compensation benchmarking and market analysis
- Strong understanding of SEC disclosure requirements and Dodd-Frank regulations
- Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills
- Proficiency with compensation data tools and software platforms
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field
- Ability to work effectively with senior executives and Board-level audiences
Preferred Qualifications
- CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) or similar industry certification
- Experience in the technology or semiconductor industry
- Knowledge of international compensation practices for multi-country organizations
- Experience with stock plan administration and equity programs
- MBA or advanced degree in related field
Must-Have Requirements
- 7+ years of executive compensation experience
- Understanding of SEC regulations and public company disclosure requirements
- Ability to work onsite at one of the three specified locations
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
