We are looking for compassionate, dependable Resident Assistants to join our team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents.

Position Summary:
The Resident Assistant is responsible for providing direct care and supervision to residents while promoting dignity, independence, and quality of life. This role works closely with the care team to meet residents’ physical, emotional, and social needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Provide support with meals, hydration, and feeding assistance as needed.
• Observe and report changes in residents’ condition, behavior, or mood.
• Respond promptly to resident needs and call lights.
• Assist with transfers and ambulation using proper safety techniques.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized resident environment.
• Support residents in social and recreational activities.
• Follow all care plans, policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
• Maintain resident confidentiality and dignity at all times.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous caregiving or senior living experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to work with residents who have dementia or cognitive impairments.
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift or assist residents as required.
• Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations.
