Accounts Receivable and Collections Clerk
Full-time
Description
- Post customer payments and maintain accurate AR records
- Utilize our POS system to apply payments
- Process daily mail
- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Contact customers to collect outstanding balances
- Send invoices, statements, and payment reminders
- Prepare aging reports and update management weekly
- Work closely with sales and operations to ensure billing accuracy
Requirements
- Previous experience in accounts receivable or a similar role preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Proficient in basic office software and comfortable with technology.
- High school diploma required; associate’s degree preferred
- 1–3 years of AR or collections experience
- Strong Excel and data-entry skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- High attention to detail; able to meet deadlines
- Bilingual a plus
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
Salary Description
$24-$26 per hour
