Key account manager corporate accounts

At Market5201, we're looking for a Key Account Manager (KAM) to oversee and grow corporate accounts across the West Coast region, including California, Nevada, Oregon, and Washington.

This role is responsible for managing a portfolio of approximately 60 corporate customers, building customized Joint Business Plans (JBPs), and ensuring alignment and execution across internal teams, brokers, third-party merchandisers, and brand partners.

The KAM will also work closely with business intelligence, marketing, and the brands we represent to report on performance, optimize strategies, and bring insights from the field back into the planning process.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer & Account Management:

• Strategic Planning & Joint Business Plans
• Execution & Field Coordination
• Cross-Functional Collaboration & Reporting
• Collaborate closely with the Business Intelligence team to analyze performance metrics, identify trends, and build actionable insights
• Administrative Duties & Forecasting

Qualifications:

• Experience in Sales and Marketing in the Hispanic Market

• 10+ years in key account management

• Strong experience working with brokers, field merchandising agencies, and brand partners

• Skilled in strategic planning, JBP development, and trade execution

• Highly analytical with the ability to leverage data from BI tools and market reports

• Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint) and CRM systems

• Ability to travel within the region (50–60%)

Preferred Attributes:

• Familiarity with the West Coast retail and foodservice landscape

• Bilingual (Spanish/English)

• Experience working in a distributor, broker, or brand management environment
