Job Description:
We are seeking a Technology Lead (Lean Portfolio Manager) to bridge strategic vision and execution by applying Lean and Agile principles to portfolio governance, funding, and delivery oversight. This Director-level role partners with both legacy application teams and agile pods delivering new system functions in support of content licensing capabilities. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in Lean Portfolio Management, Agile frameworks, and enterprise architecture alignment, with a proven ability to drive outcomes across multiple initiatives.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership: Align technology strategy with business goals and translate vision into actionable outcomes using OKRs.

Lean Portfolio Management: Drive portfolio-level governance, connecting vision to execution and ensuring technical solutions align with standards.

Agile Enablement: Act as a Lean-Agile leader for Content Sales Planning, empowering teams with decentralized decision-making and iterative delivery.

Delivery Oversight: Monitor pod progress through PI Objectives, OKRs, dashboards; balance innovation, risk, and technical debt.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with architects, sponsors, and managers to resolve bottlenecks, remove impediments, and guide design governance.

Continuous Improvement: Lead PI Planning, Inspect & Adapt sessions, and system demos while fostering design thinking and user-focused solutions.

Architecture & Technical Integrity: Ensure interoperability of systems, oversee API and microservices alignment, and maintain scalability, security, and resiliency across solutions.

Governance & Communication: Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, program governance, and architecture reviews.
Requirements:
Must-Haves:
-
8 years' experience in Lean-Agile frameworks (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban) with proven success leading Agile Release Trains (ARTs).

Experience with PI Planning, Inspect & Adapt, system demos , and continuous improvement practices.

Leadership in Architecture Reviews , collaborating with enterprise architects, tech sponsors, and product managers.

Understanding of system integration, data architecture, and platform interoperability .

Experience with tech enablers (APIs, ingestion pipelines, microservices, reporting layers).

Proficiency with Agile and project tools (JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, VersionOne, Trello, PowerBI, Miro).

Skilled in developing executive-level presentations (PowerPoint).
Nice-to-Haves:

Experience with UX/UI design research .

Knowledge of Media & Entertainment , specifically content licensing systems .

Strong background in change management, stakeholder engagement, and executive coaching .

Familiarity with participatory budgeting and portfolio-level prioritization .
