Mutual Housing Management is seeking a Property Manager to provide leadership and support across our portfolio of affordable multifamily communities. This role ensures smooth daily operations, regulatory compliance, and strong resident relations.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee property operations, staff, vendors, and resident relations at assigned site.
- Ensure compliance with affordable housing regulations (HUD, LIHTC, TCAC, etc.).
- Maintain fiscal oversight, occupancy, and property upkeep.
- Provide training, guidance, and leadership to on-site staff.
- Onsite housing is included as part of the compensation package and requires residency in the community.
- Minimum 3 years of property management experience, including affordable housing operations.
- Strong knowledge of Fair Housing laws and affordable housing compliance programs (HUD, LIHTC, Tax Credit, etc.).
- Experience preparing property budgets and overseeing day ‑ to ‑ day operations of affordable housing communities.
- Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field preferred.
- Professional certifications such as Certified Property Manager (CPM) or equivalent preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Yardi (Affordable or Voyager) and MS Office preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
- Must pass criminal background screening, including education verification and DMV check.
