Accounting and Finance Administrative Assistant

General Overview:
The Accounting and Finance Admin position is responsible for providing administrative support to the accounting and finance team.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review and maintain login credentials for vendor websites.
- Contact vendors to obtain invoices, statements, or payment instructions.
- Acquiring approval to pay invoices from the organization from company managers.
- Processing and payment of invoices from vendors utilizing our outside accounting firm, processing payments in-house via credit card or requesting checks from the Finance Admin.
- Support the accounts payable and finance team with monthly close by gathering invoices to support credit card payments made by team members in the field or use by in-house accounting and finance team members.
- Emailing credit card and payment support to our outside accounting firms and providing support for items processed through Accounts Payable or the Finance team.
- Help the finance and accounting team answer questions from the broader organization and request vendors to provide supporting documentation.
- Support the operations team and finance department team members with various transactional and clerical tasks.
- Other projects and duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum High School diploma; AA degree a plus
- Minimum 2 years of Accounts Payable or related business experience supporting teams.
- Experience in using credit cards as a payment method in an Accounts Payable environment a plus.
- General proficiency in Microsoft Excel and word.
- General accounting exposure a plus
- Quick Serve Restaurant exposure a plus
