This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about animal care, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and is looking to gain experience in the veterinary field. We are ideally looking for someone to start in August or September 2026.

Key Responsibilities

· Care for hospitalized patients, including feeding, watering and taking them outside.

· Assist with patient restraint for examinations, treatment, and surgical procedures

· Clean and sanitize kennels, exam rooms, treatment areas, and equipment

· Assist with laundry, dishes, and general clinic upkeep

· Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, clients, and staff

Requirements

· Must be at least 18 years old and eligible to work in Canada

· Compassion and empathy toward animals and their owners

· Strong communication and teamwork skills

· Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

· Comfortable performing physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, standing, and cleaning

· Evening and weekend availability is required

· Previous animal care experience is an asset

Compensation: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
