Tutor (CVUSD - Chino, CA 91710)

- Mon/Tue/Wed, 2:15 PM TO 4:30 PM
- Math and ELA, Grades 2-6
- 6-8 hours per week, with the possibility of 8+ hours per week within 30 days by working additional virtual or in-person hours.
- $22 per hour standard
- $23 per hour if bilingual (Spanish or other preferred language based on site request)
- $24 per hour if credentialed teacher or certificated tutor
- $24.50 per hour for Lead Tutor role (looking for one person to fill this role)
- Provide small group tutoring sessions to students using the provided curriculum and learning technology.
- Manage classroom dynamics to ensure a conducive learning environment.
- Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Can complete the fingerprinting process within 48 hours of an offer
- In this role you will need to be able to meet DOJ/FBI fingerprint clearance requirements for this position
- You can provide 3 professional references
- You have a minimum of 60 units of college credits
- You have at least one year of student-related experience
- You are detail-oriented and highly dependable
- You are an effective communicator
- You have reliable transportation
- You can provide a negative tuberculosis test within 2 weeks of being hired
- You love learning, teaching, and empowering others to soar
