Senior Full-Stack/ Frontend/ Backend Engineer Java & React- 1474

City: Glendale, CA
Onsite/ Hybrid/ Remote: Hybrid (3-4 days a week)

Duration : 12 months

Rate Range : Up to$92.5/hr on W2 depending on experience (no C2C or 1099 or sub-contract)

Work Authorization : GC, USC, All valid EADs except OPT, CPT, H1B

Responsibilities:

• Develop full-stack solutions across multiple custom marketing platforms used for campaign management, publicity workflows, and approval tools.
  
• Work closely with the Product Manager and Tech Lead to define, prioritize, and deliver enhancements across three core platforms.
  
• Support development efforts in both frontend (React, Angular) and backend (Java) environments, with flexibility to float across different platform teams as needed.
  
• Collaborate with both offshore developers and onsite team members to ensure code quality, timely delivery, and consistent architecture.
  
• Refactor legacy applications with a focus on performance, maintainability, and preparing for microservices migration.
  
• Contribute to the development of a separate external application used by executive leadership, requiring additional attention to polish and stability.
  
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (standups, refinements, retrospectives) and communicate progress and blockers effectively.
  
• Engage with business stakeholders (for DTG app) to translate requirements into technical solutions when needed.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in full-stack development or specialization in either frontend or backend with strong collaboration experience.
  
• Proficient in Java and modern Java frameworks (Spring/Spring Boot).
  
• Strong frontend experience using React and Angular.
  
• Familiarity with database design and management using MongoDB or PostgreSQL.
  
• Experience with RESTful API development and integration.
  
• Exposure to or understanding of microservices architecture and refactoring practices.
  
• Comfortable working in Agile environments and participating in all ceremonies.
  
• Excellent communication skills, with a focus on being realistic and proactive in project timelines and status updates.
  
• Experience working with offshore teams across time zones, with PST core working hours.
  
• Nice to have: Kotlin, cloud experience (AWS/Azure), enterprise/SaaS marketing tech experience (e.g., campaign or publicity tools), user-facing app development, or refactoring legacy apps.
