Summary

A successful candidate for this position will use their excellent attention to detail to accurately process invoices and deposits, record revenue and maintain accounts receivable ledger.

This is a full-time, in person non-exempt position. Applicants must be able to work in the Folsom, CA office.

The base salary range for this role is $25/hour to $28/hour. This position is eligible for overtime.

Responsibilities

• Process deposits daily: reconcile payments to receivables and commission statements from various carriers, deposit checks to the bank, record receipts in accounting system
• Process monthly and quarterly billing
• Set up new customers in accounting system, maintain customer records
• Monitor Accounts Receivable Aging and ensure payments are being collected in a timely manner
• Assist customers and internal staff with invoice-related inquiries
• Assist with year-end audits by providing necessary documentation and payment information
• Other duties and ad-hoc projects as assigned

Requirements

• Associate's degree in accounting and/or one to three years general accounting experience
• Experience working in an accounting system
• Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
• Excellent customer service skills
• Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
• Flexibility and positive attitude towards change in a growing company
• Ability to maintain privacy and confidentiality
