Radiologic Technologist Job Details

• Assignment Type: Locum tenens (Travel Contract)

• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 8-hour day shifts, Monday–Friday
• Hours per Week: 40
• On-Call: Required
• Hourly Pay Rate: $115
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2870–$2950

Radiologic Technologist Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Current ARRT certification (Certified Radiology Technologist)
• Interventional Technologist certification preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Interventional Radiology or related radiologic specialty
• Strong knowledge of interventional supplies and imaging equipment
• Ability to participate in on-call rotation

Radiologic Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform Interventional, Neuro, and Endovascular procedures with a focus on patient safety and technical excellence
• Assist Interventional Radiologists with diagnostic studies, embolizations, stenting, and endovascular repairs
• Operate and monitor advanced imaging equipment, administer contrast media, and ensure radiation safety for patients and staff
• Prepare and position patients, provide compassionate support, and clearly explain procedures
• Document procedures, report patient reactions, and communicate clinical changes to the healthcare team
• Maintain and order interventional supplies, sterilize equipment, and perform quality control tests
• Ensure regulatory compliance, participate in quality improvement, and maintain accurate scheduling and follow-up records
• Collaborate with clinical departments and build strong relationships with patients and referring physicians
