AMD together we advance_ Responsibilities: Business Development Director, T1 CSP Customers THE ROLE: AMD is seeking an experienced Director for its North American CSP Business Development team, focused on product design-in and sell-through functions. The role requires deep engagement with engineering, sales, and customer success teams to drive business growth and ensure successful deployment of AMD technologies in AI and cloud environments. This is a high-impact role with direct influence over AMD's strategic engagements with cloud providers and AI innovators. Candidates should bring a mix of technical proficiency, strategic thinking, and strong cross-functional communication skills. THE PERSON: The ideal person for this role will have a passion for innovation, being comfortable defining a way forward in the face of ambiguity and can scale and influence. Will be comfortable working in a collaborative, fast paced environment and have team working skills. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Define and manage engagement strategy with T1 CSP executives and technical teams Outline and operationalize strategic business targets aligned with corporate and BU-level goals Engage with system hardware architects, software engineers, and thought leaders at customers and ensure efficient collaboration with AMD engineering and software teams Lead technical and business-related follow-ups as AMD's key point of contact Build partnerships with CSP's internal sales teams and their end customers Develop training materials and demand-generation content Analyze industry trends, especially CSP performance in AI Serve as first line of Resolve technical and quality issues with CSPs Forecast and align customer-specific revenue plans with AMD Sales teams Collaborate extensively with AMD engineering, product, quality, and business planning teams, in some cases across BUs PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Deeply experienced business development or product management professional in the semiconductor industry Expertise in GPUs and acceleration in AI/cloud Ability to assess technical and business trade-offs for ROI History of executive level interactions in the business and technical domains ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering MBA preferred Qualifications: Benefits offered are described: AMD benefits at a glance.
