Hospitality Experience Specialist

The Hospitality Experience Specialist is a dynamic front-of-house professional responsible for delivering exceptional guest experience through outstanding food & beverage service. This hybrid position seamlessly combines the roles of server, bartender, and barista, requiring versatility, efficiency, and genuine hospitality.

Team members are expected to confidently transition between coffee service, wine service, table service, and guest engagement while maintaining the highest standards of quality and professionalism.

This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in an environment neighborhood focused, enjoy connecting with people, and take pride in creating memorable guest experiences from the first cup of coffee to the final glass of wine.

Primary responsibilities

Guest Experience

• Welcome every guest with warmth, professionalism, and enthusiasm.
• Create memorable experiences through attentive and personalized service.
• Build relationships with regular guests while creating a welcoming atmosphere for new visitors
• Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally

Table Service

• Guide guests through food and beverage menu
• Take accurate orders using POS system
• Deliver food and beverages promptly
• Monitor guests' satisfaction throughout their visit.
• Maintain clean, organized dining areas.

Bartending/Barista Duties

• Prepare beer, wine, mocktails, and specialty beverages according to recipes.
• Ensure responsible alcohol service
• Maintain cleanliness and organization.
• Monitor inventory and communicate restocking needs
• Uphold all health and alcohol service regulations
• Prepare espresso drinks, coffee, tea, matcha, and specialty cafe beverages with consistency
• Maintain coffee equipment and ensure proper cleaning procedures
• Educate guests on coffee/wine offerings and seasonal beverages
• Present beverages with attention to detail and quality

Operations

• Open and close stations following established procedures
• Restock supplies and maintain cleanliness throughout the shift
• Assist with merchandising and retail displays
• Support catering orders and events when needed
• Work collaboratively across all front-of-house positions

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a server, bartender, barista, or similar hospitality role preferred.
• Ability to multitask
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Positive attitude with a team-first mentality
• Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and details.
• Availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Responsible alcohol service certification
• Food handler certification
