As a Membership Sales Associate , you will be the first point of contact for customers, responsible for selling memberships, building relationships, and delivering an exceptional experience . This role is ideal for someone who is motivated, coachable, and eager to grow into a leadership position. We believe in career development, and top performers in this role will have the opportunity to advance into management as we continue to expand. What Youll Do
- Drive membership sales by educating customers on the benefits of routine wellness care
- Build strong relationships with dog parents and provide outstanding customer service
- Promote and schedule first-time visits to introduce customers to our services
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk environment
- Ensure dog safety protocols are always followed to provide a stress-free experience for pets
- There will be direct hands-on experience with bathing required
- A sales-driven mindset with a passion for helping customers make informed decisions
- Proactive and coachable , with a desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and people skills to engage with customers and build relationships
- A passion for dog wellness and safety
- Retail, hospitality, or membership-based sales experience is a plus

- Total Compensation - $24-30/hr.
- Base pay is $18- $21 an hour.
- Can expect $6-9 additional per hour based on tips
- Direct career growth path to Management positions (Asst. Manager/Manager) and additional options

- Drive key performance indicators average ticket price and rebook ratio through memberships, service add-ons, and retail sales
- Develop membership leads; Follow up with potential members
- Support in scheduling customer appointments, manage customer profiles and records
- Manage customer expectations; Resolve customer concerns; Retain memberships
- Adhere to Scenthound sanitary and cleaning practices keep the reception area clean and presentable
- Working directly with dogs and performing services including baths, ear cleaning, nail clipping, teeth brushing, and ear cleaning on occasion
- Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by the Scenter Manager
- Confidence in selling services and products
- Ability to connect with customers (both canine and human!) and provide outstanding customer service
- Ability to practice proper dog safety and dog handling
- Ability to perform basic dog services including baths, ear cleaning, nail clipping, teeth brushing, and ear cleaning on occasion
- Ability to learn our products and services to educate the dog parents; speak to our values and culture as the basis for our services
- Effective communication with team members and dog parents (in person and on the phone)
