Tasting Room Associate

We are seeking a passionate Tasting Room Attendant to join our team at a boutique winery in the heart of wine country. The ideal candidate will have exceptional customer service skills and a love for wine, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Responsibilities include providing top-notch customer service to visitors, conducting wine tastings, selling wine and merchandise, and providing guests with information about the winery, the region, the club membership, and the wine-making process. The duties also include managing guest reservations, serving wine to guests, and maintaining a clean and organized tasting room.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college education preferred
• Previous experience in customer service, sales, or hospitality industry is recommended
• Knowledge of wine, wine tasting, and winery operations, but willing to train the right person
• Good interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced, busy environment, and be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and some evenings for events
• Must be able to lift 45lbs
• Must work well in a team environment and independently

Part-time positions available. Must be able to work Saturday & Sunday.Starting hourly rate (DOE) plus tips.
