Purchasing Technician - District Office, Nutrition Education Department, 8 hrs./day (Full Benefits)

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: High School Diploma (accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education) or Equivalent MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - EDUCATION AND/OR TRAINING: Equivalent to graduation from high school supplemented by course work in business administration preferred. MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Two years of clerical and/or accounting experience preferred. DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE: Three (3) years of clerical experience including at least two (2) years of accounting experience and one year of experience with general purchasing responsibilities.

PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO INTERNAL CANDIDATES. Typing Certificate Requirements: 1. Five (5) minute typing test. 2. Certificate must contain all of the following: Name of person tested Gross words per minute Net words per minute Number of actual errors (not percentage) Duration of test (5 minutes) Name of testing agency Date of test Verifier's signature Typing certificates obtained online will not be accepted.
