Home Health RN Job Details

• Location: Irvine, CA 92612 (Orange County home health jobs)
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing / Locum Tenens
• Healthcare Setting: Home Health / Homecare
• Shift: Days, Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Hours per Week: 40
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 09/29/2025 – End: 12/28/2025)
• Patient Ratio: 1:1 (up to 6 patient visits per day; 30 productivity points standard)
• Travel Radius: Up to 50+ miles (clients grouped to minimize drive time)
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2400 - $2460

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of recent skilled home health nursing experience (within the last 3 years)
• Proficiency with OASIS documentation for start of care
• BLS certification (American Heart Association required)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel nursing assignments

Home Health RN Responsibilities

• Deliver skilled nursing care to geriatric and adult patients in their homes throughout Irvine and Orange County
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop individualized care plans, and complete start of care using OASIS documentation
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care and education to patients and their families
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of all patient care activities in compliance with home health standards
• Travel to patient homes within assigned territory, meeting productivity and quality standards
