Virtual Branch Representative
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for providing high level of Member Service.
- Provide specific, accurate and timely information to members regarding CFCU products, including the various types of accounts, loan products and current Marketing promotions, as well as account information in accordance with Credit Union policy.
- Responsible for resolving member inquires, problems and requests at the first point of contact.
- Monitor and answer incoming calls from the phone que, including CHAT.
- Assist members in establishing and maintaining share and loan services
- Assist members with loan information including all consumer and real estate loan products and rates.
- Assist members with savings information including IRA, Money Market, youth accounts and term certificates.
- Assist members with Home and Mobile Banking issues
- Inform and educate members on how to conduct transactions through self-service technologies
- Strong communication skills (including verbal and non-verbal)
- Ability to work effectively as a team member
- Spanish speaking preferred
- Careful attention to time management
- Attendance/Punctuality
- Other duties as assigned
- Proficiency in basic computer skills, including word, excel, Microsoft
- May work two Saturdays and/or extended hours
- Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRMENTS:
- Minimum of high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Minimum of 1 year experience in member/customer service
- Understanding of financial terms, good comprehension of mathematics and English language.
- Excellent written and spoken English. Requires the ability to communicate courteously and professionally, both in writing and verbally.
- Computer proficiency is required: Microsoft Office, Word and Excel.
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.50 - $24.00 per hour
