Role, support, and team: The Inpatient Hospitalist NP Nurse Practitioner will report to a Hospitalist Medical Director within a collaborative service line supported by attending physicians, specialist consultants, case management, pharmacy, respiratory therapy, and friendly, highly skilled bedside nurses. The Inpatient Hospitalist NP Nurse Practitioner will manage admissions, rounding, cross-coverage, and discharges; drive evidence-based protocols; coordinate transitions of care; participate in rapid response efforts; and leverage a fully integrated EMR with strong documentation and order-set support, all while thriving alongside a diverse, collegial, and mission-focused healthcare professional team.
