OverviewGallagher is seeking a Digital Marketing & Communications Specialist to join our growing team in San Diego. This role is ideal for a hands-on digital marketer who thrives on execution and is passionate about delivering meaningful, client-focused communications.
In this position, you will play a critical role in bringing digital campaigns to life—partnering closely with internal stakeholders, creative teams, and marketing leadership to execute high-impact communications across multiple channels. This is not a purely strategic role; we are looking for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves and doing the work, while continuously learning and refining their craft.
This role supports a mission-driven line of business focused on helping underserved populations better understand and access the benefits and resources available to them. Your work will directly impact how clients engage with and benefit from Gallagher’s solutions.
How you'll make an impactContributes to development of marketing plans, initiatives, and related communications on client's behalf. Creates collateral to aid clients in plan education efforts. Responsible for sales support activities such as account analyses, research, and sales promotion. Assists in the implementation of account specific marketing plans. Maintains and manages timelines so that marketing milestones are met. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish assigned tasks and goals. May assist in orienting and training lower level employees.
About YouRequired:
- Bachelor's degree and 3 years in healthcare, employee benefits, or related industry experience required.
Preferred
- Hands-on experience executing digital marketing and communication campaigns
- Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud (required/preferred)
- Experience with Adobe Marketo or similar marketing automation tools
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
- Experience working in both B2B and B2C communications environments

We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
