The Biological Sciences Facilities Management team takes pride in sustaining the daily operation, repair, and maintenance of the Dunlop School buildings and grounds. We also partner with our campus facilities to accomplish alterations, improvements, and renovations of physical facilities.

Responsibilities:

As part of Biological Sciences Facilities Management, the Facilities Assistant manages administrative tasks related to facilities and purchasing; conducts building walkthroughs; processes incoming work orders; schedules conference room and vehicle reservations; oversees key and building access requests; manages lab and office cleanouts; send purchasing and facilities related emails and correspondence; special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Ability to work effectively in a busy environment.
  • Verbal and written communication skills, ability to provide good customer service to a range of faculty, staff, students and campus partners.
  • Thorough interpersonal skills including good service orientation and effective problem solving.
  • Thorough and effective skills to multi-task and prioritize daily activities effectively.
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience


Preferred:

  • 1-3 yearsAdministrative support, customer service, facilities support, scheduling, work order management, meeting coordination
