Accounting & Administrative Assistant (Part-time) - Japanese Bilingual
Overview
IT Consulting company is looking for a bilingual (English/Japanese) individual with hands-on accounting experience who can support Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and general administrative tasks. This is a part-time position (5 hours per day, 5 days per week).
Key Responsibilities
Accounting:
- Process Accounts Payable (invoice entry, payment preparation, vendor management)
- Handle Accounts Receivable (billing, payment collection, etc)
- Assist with monthly closing and journal entries
- Maintain accounting records and documents
Administrative:
- Support office administration, filing, and data entry
- Manage office supplies and vendor coordination
- Handle general correspondence (email, mail, courier, etc.)
- Support other administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience (AP/AR required)
- Business-level English and Japanese (written)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Experience with accounting systems (Microsoft Dynamics BC or similar) preferred
- Detail-oriented, organized, and reliable
- Must have valid U.S. work authorization
Employment Type: Part-time (5 hours per day, 5 days per week)
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 5 hours per day (e.g., 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM or 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM, flexible)
Work Location: Torrance, California (Office-based, hybrid schedule negotiable)Hourly Range: $24.00~$27.00 (Based on experience and skills)
