Quality Control Associate

Shift/Hours: Monday-Friday. First Shift

Pay: $26.00-$30.00/hr

Location: Milpitas, CA

Experience: 2+ years of progressive experience as a Quality Control Associate

Quality Control Associate Job Duties include:

• Conduct inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products to ensure adherence to quality standards.

• Calibrate and maintain quality control equipment, and collect/analyze data from quality tests.

• Prepare comprehensive reports on quality findings and communicate results to relevant departments.

• Identify and report deviations from quality standards, collaborating with production to implement corrective actions.

• Maintain meticulous quality control documentation and participate in quality audits and management systems.

• Contribute to the development of new quality control procedures and train junior team members on best practices.

Quality Control Associate Preferred Skills include:

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

• Adaptability to changing processes and willingness to learn new technologies

• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and specifications

• Experience with laboratory equipment and testing procedures

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

• Familiarity with quality management systems and relevant industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001)

Quality Control Associate Requirements may include:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, or a related scientific field

• Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen

• Must provide 3 professional references

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail

• Demonstrated commitment to safety and following proper procedures

• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and quality control software
