Temporary Painter

Position Title: Temporary Commercial Painter (Night Shift)
Location: Fremont, CA
Job Type: Temporary / Project-Based
Schedule: 8:00 PM – 4:00 AM
Additional overtime may be required based on project needs.

Compensation: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour, depending on experience

Position Summary
Moreno & Associates, Inc. is seeking experienced Commercial Painters to support a large-scale project located in Fremont, CA. This is a temporary, project-based position with the potential for future opportunities based on performance and business needs.

The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial and industrial painting environments, possess strong attention to detail, and be able to work independently during overnight hours while maintaining strict safety and quality standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, patching, sanding, scraping, caulking, and priming.

• Apply paints, coatings, and finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.

• Perform interior commercial painting projects.

• Protect surrounding areas through proper masking and covering procedures.

• Operate ladders, scaffolding, and lifts safely.

• Maintain a clean and organized job site.

• Follow all Moreno & Associates and client safety protocols and site requirements.

• Communicate project progress and material needs to supervisors.

• Complete work efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) years of commercial painting experience preferred.

• Experience working in industrial, manufacturing, or high-tech facilities is highly desirable.

• Ability to work overnight shifts consistently.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on ladders and elevated platforms.

• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to the job site.

• Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.

• Must be able to pass any required background screening and comply with site access requirements.
