Title:
Accounting Manager

Salary:
$120,000-130,000 (DOE) Bonus

Job Description:
This role oversees indirect rate development and ensures accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with government regulations. The position requires expertise in SAP S/4HANA and experience with government contract accounting.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and submit journal entries for month-end close of indirect rates.

• Develop and submit Forward Pricing Rate Proposals (FPRP) and Incurred Cost Submissions (ICS).

• Ensure compliance with CAS, FAR, DFARS, and other applicable regulations.

• Lead SAP S/4HANA implementation for indirect allocations processes.

• Analyze financial data and align costs to appropriate cost pools.

• Manage documentation and processes to support audits and rate development.

• Build strong relationships with DCMA, DCAA, and internal teams.

• Identify process improvements and drive operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

• SAP S/4HANA experience required

• 4 years of operating cost analytics or indirect rate development experience

• 3 years of cost accounting experience

• Strong knowledge of CAS, FAR, DFARS, and government audit processes

Preferred Skills:

• CPA, CMA, or similar certification

• Prior government audit experience

• Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills

• Advanced MS Excel skills and experience with financial systems such as Workday or Oracle
