Lead Space Systems Test Engineer (TS/SCI)

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Space Systems Test Engineer to support a classified DoD program in El Segundo, CA. The team is seeking a systems engineer to perform hardware and software verification tests of space systems and subsystems for a critical mission.

Clearance: Active Top Secret/SCI

Location: El Segundo, CA (100% on-site)

Responsibilities

• Contributes to the creation and validation of test methodologies.
• Executes comprehensive test procedures, including defining instrumentation and configurations to reduce risk within the parameters of the test plan.
• Develops targeted solutions for calibration system issues with limited scope and impact.
• Designs test hardware, software, and systems to meet specified testing requirements.
• Processes, analyzes, and formats data in alignment with customer specifications.
• Evaluates test data—including anomalies—for accuracy, quality, and fidelity prior to customer delivery.
• Compiles and publishes test reports to document outcomes and fulfill requirements.
• Communicates test results to internal stakeholders.
• Organize and archive test data and reports.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance
• Bachelors of Science in engineering, engineering technology, STEM
• 14+ years of experience working with specialized test equipment, instrumentation using electrical engineering test methodologies
• Experience working in a lab or production environment
• Experience in software tools based in C++ and C#

Compensation

• Total compensation based on experience level - $180,000-$200,000+ **based on experience level**
