Application Services Manager

Application Services Manager Location Redlands, CA : Reporting to the Director of Information Systems, this position leads and manages the team responsible for implementation, maintenance and support of enterprise software applications. Updating of existing software is a key area of responsibility which includes production software change management, release management and quality assurance. This position also develops and enforces related technical standards and methodologies, and is also responsible for I.T. project management. Must be able to work independently and possess outstanding interpersonal and communication skills. Must be well organized and able to work in a fast paced environment while keeping track of multiple tasks and projects. In addition., is generally able to report on-site to RCH within 45 minutes where the employee is subject to being called in for urgent issues. Required Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare, or related field * 5-7 years of acute care application support experience - Electronic Health Record, clinical, and/or financial systems * 5-7 years of line management experience Preferred Qualifications * Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare, or related field * ANCC Informatics Nursing certification * PMI certification * Meditech Magic experience preferred * Successful track record in line management and staff development; Project Management, PMI certification beneficial; Acute care clinical experience beneficial.
