Service Assistant, Busser, Busboy, Busperson provide a very important role in our restaurant. They keep the beat of the place going and ensure the tables are prepared immediately for the next party. They also ensure the guests are attended to if the wait staff is busy. They also restock utensils, napkins and see to other dining room needs.

Busser, Busboy, Busperson is generally offered as a part time restaurant job.

Prior experience as a Busser, Busboy, Busperson, restaurant crew member, runner, food runner or other part time restaurant jobs is highly desirable.

Requirements/Responsibilities

Service Assistant Requirements:
* 18 years old or older
* Ability to handle a fast-paced working environment
* Experience with customer service preferred

Responsibilities May Include:

* Provide service to guests and bring requested items to the guest’s table in an efficient and timely manner.
* Replace used condiments, tablecloths, silverware and linens and ensure each guest has what they need for their meal.
* Offer guests complementary items such as water as soon as the guest sit down and bread as soon as the food order is taken.
* Bring food and beverages to and from the kitchen to ensure all meals are served hot and fresh.
* Ensure that the stock area remains adequately stocked with clean linens, silverware, glassware, trays, dishes and more so there is no downtime when serving guests.
* Keep the dining area clean, which may include mopping, wiping down counters and other Maintain communication with the servers, hosts, chefs and other staff members to ensure an efficient working relationship.
