Physical Therapist - Inpatient Acute Rehabilitation | Escondido, CA

Join a 52-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital in Escondido, CA, providing specialized, intensive rehabilitation for patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury. This role involves delivering individualized physical therapy interventions to maximize patient function and quality of life in an acute rehab setting.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active California Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience in inpatient acute rehabilitation or inpatient rehab facilities preferred.
• Experience treating stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, amputation, or complex orthopedic conditions preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a 24- to 52-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit preferred.
• Familiarity with intensive, interdisciplinary rehab programs preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 08:00–16:30.
• Shift days requested: Tuesday through Saturday.
