Real Estate Investment Analyst

Position Summary: We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Real Estate Investment Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive market research, performing financial analyses, and evaluating investment opportunities to support informed decision-making and drive the growth of our investment portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Analysis: Prepare detailed underwriting of real estate properties based on projections, market research, and past financial statements to determine income, valuations, and loan amounts.
Market Research: Conduct thorough market research and feasibility studies to assess the viability of potential projects, including analyzing trends in property values, rental rates, and occupancy rates.
Investment Evaluation: Assess potential investment opportunities by analyzing financial data, market conditions, and property performance metrics to provide actionable recommendations.
Portfolio Monitoring: Monitor the performance of existing investments, identify potential areas of concern, and develop strategies to optimize returns and mitigate risks.
Reporting: Prepare and present detailed reports, including proformas and financial models, to senior management and stakeholders, effectively communicating findings and recommendations.
Collaboration: Work closely with the investment and property management teams to align investment strategies with organizational goals and market opportunities.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA) are a plus.
Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in real estate analysis, investment banking, or a related field, with a strong understanding of commercial real estate markets.
Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel; experience with real estate analysis software is preferred.
Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to think critically and solve complex problems effectively.
