Hiring: Line Cook
Location: Beverly Hills, CA
Pay: $22.00–$24.00/hour

Job Summary:

We’re looking for a skilled Line Cook to join our kitchen team. This role is ideal for someone with solid cooking experience who thrives in a high-volume environment and is ready to grow their culinary skills.

You’ll work closely with the Chef and Sous Chef to prepare high-quality dishes, maintain standards, and support daily kitchen operations.

What You’ll Do:

Food Preparation & Cooking

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards
• Assist with sauces, butchery, and station prep
• Execute dishes with consistency, speed, and attention to detail

Kitchen Operations

• Set up and maintain assigned station for service
• Work multiple stations with minimal supervision
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning and food storage

Food Safety & Compliance

• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene procedures
• Label, date, and rotate products (FIFO)
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Inventory & Cost Control

• Support inventory counts and food tracking
• Follow portion control and prep guidelines to reduce waste
• Assist with receiving and storing deliveries properly

What We’re Looking For:

• 2+ years of cooking experience or culinary education
• Ability to work sauté, broil, or multiple line stations
• Strong knife skills and understanding of kitchen equipment
• Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistency
• Team player with strong work ethic and attention to detail

Requirements:

• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Reliable transportation
• Food Handler Certification (required)

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in high-volume kitchens
• Familiarity with kitchen systems and ticket reading
• Understanding of food and labor cost control
