About Us:
Rex Medical Care is a respected primary care clinic in Duarte, CA, dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care to a diverse patient population. We are seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) Office Manager who can lead front and back office operations while supporting managed care initiatives and delivering exceptional patient service. FRONT OFFICE is the primary job, but will need to support BACK OFFICE when necessary

Job Responsibilities:
Front Office Duties:

• Manage daily reception operations including patient check-in/out and appointment scheduling
• Handle incoming calls with professionalism and empathy
• Verify insurance, process authorizations, and maintain accurate EMR documentation
• Ensure a clean and welcoming environment for all patients

Back Office Duties:

• Support clinical staff with rooming patients, taking vitals, and preparing for exams
• Coordinate lab requests, referrals, and patient follow-ups
• Monitor medical supply inventory and order as needed
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and OSHA standards

Qualifications:

• Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred)
• Minimum 4 years of experience in a medical office with supervisory responsibilities
• Knowledge of managed care operations and incentive programs strongly preferred
• Familiarity with EMR systems (eClinicalWorks a plus)
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and manage a busy clinic environment

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM = 1 hour lunch from 1 to 2pm. Wednesday halfday 9am to 1pm
• No weekends
