About the Role
We are seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to build AI Agents for Healthcare. The ideal candidate will be a product-minded, hands-on builder with deep LLM/agent experience (tool use, function calling, RAG, evals) and strong systems design/MLOps chops experience. This role requires a dynamic individual who can drive end-to-end delivery of agentic workflows and lead a cross-functional team in sales, operations, marketing, recruiting, and product management. As an AI Engineer, you will be responsible for technical strategy, architecture, and execution of our agent platform.
Responsibilities
Help lead the development of AI Agents, utilizing existing and new services.
Iteratively improve on our suite of products using data analysis, A/B testing, and a range of other techniques to improve user experience.
Translate complex AI challenges into actionable engineering strategies, ensuring the correct choice of models, rigorous evals, efficient implementation, and continued maintenance.
Drive innovation by exploring new AI opportunities and creating 0→1 solutions that push the limits of creative AI applications.
Contribute to the long-term vision of AI at 3Y, shaping the roadmap and scaling AI capabilities across the company.
Qualifications
5+ years of software development, including 2+ years of experience in AI development (ideally 1+ year focused on generative AI products).
Experience in the following languages: Python and Typescript.
Proven ability to design and implement scalable systems across multiple business lines.
Experience working with cross-functional teams.
Ability to work 5 days a week in our San Francisco or New York office with a fully in-person team.
Compensation
The estimated salary range for this role is $200,000 - $250,000 . Total compensation for this position may also include stock options. Note that total compensation for this position will be determined by each individual’s relevant qualifications, work experience, skills, and other factors.
