Administrative Auditor/Investigator
Job Description and Duties

This is a 12-month Limited Term (LT) position that may be extended up to 24 months or may become permanent.
Under direction of the Supervisor I, this Analyst II independently performs administrative, consultative and analytical investigation, and auditing activities related to violations of Departmental policies. This position will perform the most complex investigations and audits for CDFA’s Pest Detection/Emergency Projects (PD/EP) Branch.

This CDFA work location is near restaurants, coffee shops, and a farmer’s market. We are within walking distance to light rail/public transportation, across the street from beautiful Capitol Park, and two miles from Downtown Commons (DOCO).

Working Conditions
The duties of this job are performed indoors approximately 90% of the time. At times, it may be necessary to conduct interviews in an outside setting as some witnesses may be working “in the field.” The employee’s workstation is located inside an office and is equipped with standard office equipment (computer, desk, chair, etc.). The employee may also perform job duties outdoors when delivering documents to another agency or office.
Regular or recurring telework may occur as part of the incumbent’s ongoing regular schedule in accordance with CDFA’s Telework Policy. This position provides hybrid telework opportunities, with employees required to work in-person four (4) days per work week, in alignment with Executive Order N-22-25.
Employees are expected to be able to report to their worksite with minimal notification if an urgent need arises, as determined by the Department.
Special Requirements
