An ?Enrollee? is a participant in a grant program established through a Cooperative Agreement funded by the agency and administered by NEW Solutions.This opportunity applies to applicants legally eligible to work in the United States.Qualifications:Minimum of 8 year(s) of experience in a profession with primary duties involving project management, administration, and budget development/reporting. The ideal skillset would include experience in developing and implementing construction projects with a federal agency, particularly those the required compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act and National Historic Preservation Act, complex logistics, and budget reporting. Minimum of 10 years background with projects or management pertaining to road maintenance and construction. OR AA/HS Degree in No specific degree required with minimum additional experience of 10 year(s) in road maintenance and construction including operation of engineering equipment used in the performance of roadway improvement and repair projects. Demonstrated skill and experience with project planning and implementation and budget reportingDemonstrated skill and experience with project planning and implementation and budget reporting. Minimum of 10 years background in road maintenance and construction including operation of engineering equipment used in the performance of roadway improvement and repair projects.Experience required with Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Teams, MS Outlook, MS SharePointDuties:The enrollee in this position will provide technical and professional support in the area of project development including scoping, scope validation, and preparing project statements to be submitted for funding competition. Projects will be small and simple in scope. Enrollee will also assist in development of the cyclical maintenance program and mentoring facility managers, including giving recommendation on parkwide road maintenance operations and contracting assistance.Coordinate the implementation of maintenance projects through communications with project leaders. Develops project scopes of work or services for implementation in the parks? maintenance program. Aids project leaders in the development of maintenance multi-year plans.30%Coordinates with SEKI?s Office of Environmental Planning and Compliance to identify which project scopes require environmental compliance and ensure project leaders are on track to complete the compliance prior to implementation.15%Develop and maintain a spreadsheet or other tool to track each projects specification and implementation. Items for tracking will include anticipated/actual work dates, funds expended, primary team executing work, etc.10%Provides mentorship and guidance to Parkwide SEKI Roads maintenance and construction program. Engineering equipment operation, including training, giving recommendations on parkwide operations, and contracting assistance.45%Other:Required Certifications: Must have previously held a Class ?A? for required experience in engineering equipment operation, however the applicant is NOT required to hold a current license or obtain one for the position.Required Safety Gear: Proper safety equipment for operation of engineering equipment: hard hat, vest, wet and cold weather gear.Physical requirements: Project management: Primarily office work, some field meetings would be needed, ability to be outside in heat or inclement weather for short periods of time. Engineering Equipment operation would require exposure to winter weather for prolonged periods of time (up to 10 hours) with temperatures sometimes below 15 degrees Fahrenheit.
