OverviewAt Gallagher , the parent company of Keenan , we’re looking for a Senior Account Executive/Service Manager to join our team. In this role, you’ll manage and retain client accounts, build strong relationships, and deliver tailored insurance solutions. You’ll also lead service personnel, ensuring clients receive exceptional support. This is your chance to make a real impact while working in a collaborative and professional environment.
Remote role for Northern California Candidates - San Jose, Oakland, Alameda, Contra County areas
20 - 30% Annual Local Travel to Client Sites Required
How you'll make an impactYou’ll be the go-to person for clients in your assigned territory, helping them navigate their insurance needs with confidence. By using consultative techniques, you’ll recommend solutions that align with their goals and budgets. You’ll also:
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and visits.
- Analyze client needs and suggest new services or products to enhance their insurance programs.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and advise clients accordingly.
- Negotiate carrier renewals and deliver compelling presentations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Lead and mentor service personnel, fostering a culture of excellence.
Here’s what you’ll bring to the role:
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in the insurance industry.
- A Valid Life & Health license.
- At least five years of experience in employee benefits.
- Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- A detail-oriented mindset and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and other business tools.
- A proactive attitude and a commitment to delivering outstanding service.

Compensation and benefitsWe offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
