Job Summary
Our new client operates two large-scale advanced manufacturing facilities in Central Texas. These sites support 24/7 production of highly specialized technology components used across multiple industries. The campuses include clean-room environments, engineering labs, and high-volume production lines that require a diverse, skilled workforce.
Job Summary
We are seeking Manufacturing Specialist to join our team. You will be responsible for wafer fabrication. Must have a clear understanding of the tools and systems that are utilized and the product that is being produced. Requires compliance with all security, health, and safety, and environmental management system guidelines.
Job Description
- Monitor, evaluate and interact with software systems and computerized manufacturing equipment.
- Communicate and follow through on any inhibitors to manufacturing performance.
- Extended periods of computer work with occasional lifting and walking.
- Must adhere to strict protocol policies, which include wearing a clean room suit for long periods.
Skills Required
- Must be very confident with computers and capable of learning new software systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (minimum 6 months).
- Excellent verbal communication and teamwork skills required
- Requires regular lifting of items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Involves frequent movement in and out of the fab area, including regular donning and doffing of PPE.
- Semiconductor manufacturing experience preferred.
Education/Training/Certifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
Additional Requirements
- Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM; Wed, Thurs, Fri (Sat)
- Able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
Pay rate
- $26 - $30 per hour, based on experience, skills, and market factors
