Administrative/Customer Service Assistant

National Sign & Marketing Corporation is an industry-leading electrical signage manufacturer/contractor seeking an individual to fill an Administrative/ Customer Service Assistant.


Position Overview:

  • Successful candidate will be able to work well under pressure provide administrative support to Senior Project Managers (SPM) for the success in client and sales related requests in an energetic environment.
  • The position entails good organizational skills, speak with clients, and have communication and coordination skills.
  • Keep all information organized and on an accessible spreadsheet for communication and coordination with the Senior Project Manager.
  • The position will require constant email communication with vendors and clients, so good typing skills are required.
  • The ability to understand construction documents will be helpful, but is not a requirement.
  • Must be strong team player.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills; excellent critical thinking, judgment, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and attention to detail, vigilance, poise, and composure in stressful situations.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Generating art requests for project design under supervision.
  • Compiling all information and details for approval to SPM.
  • Data entry as directed by SPM.
  • Soliciting subcontractor bids as directed, for submittal to SPM for review and direction.

Responsible for the following administrative tasks:

  • Scan and archive documents as needed.
  • Email communications to client vendors as directed by SPM.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (Minimum Qualifications):

  • Computer proficient (Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat).
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
  • Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a dynamic workplace.


Experience:

  • Customer service: 1 year (preferred).
  • Education: High School Diploma- AA or BA is a plus.
  • Must be able to fluently speak and write in English.
  • Have a positive outlook.


Job Details:

  • The pay scale for this position ranges from $20.00 to $23.00 per hour, depending on qualifications.
  • This is an entry-level position within our company with an opportunity to grow into other roles.
  • Additional Notes: Must be eligible to work in the United States.
