Position: Licensed Therapist

Location: Remote.

Hours: 10-20 hours per week.

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:

The Family Services Counseling program offers a comprehensive set of counseling services to individuals in Santa Cruz and Monterey Counties.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are actively seeking a compassionate and dedicated therapist, either a Licensed MFT or Clinical Social Worker, to join our team in a mission-critical role within our Counseling. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in providing individual, couple, and family therapy. This position offers an opportunity to make a significant impact within a diverse general outpatient population, working out of our Santa Cruz County locations.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist or Clinical Social Worker.

• Able to use Electronic Health Records (EHR), and/or learn EHR (training provided)

• Willing to provide in-person and or telehealth therapy sessions to clients

• Experience and/or willingness to learn and provide counseling via Telehealth

• Ready to obtain Medicare and/or MediCal approval upon hire

• Strong oral and written communication skills

• Open-minded, non-judgmental, fair, compassionate

• Responsible, dependable, punctual, courteous

• Self-directed and able to work independently as well as collaborate with others

• Experience providing psychotherapy services to a diversity of populations

• Willingness to work with clients who may be suicidal (Training provided)

• Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a willingness to offer supervision to trainees pursuing their Associate Clinical Social Worker (ACSW) license

Family Service Agency of the Central Coast (FSA) is a well-established non-profit mental health and wellness agency whose collection of services includes outpatient counseling, 988 suicide crisis line, suicide prevention services, mobile crisis response, senior services program, support for women with cancer, and support program for victims of childhood sexual abuse.

Our team of dedicated therapists includes licensed clinicians, registered associates, and masters-level trainees, who share a commitment to serving low and middle-income clients from all walks of life. Our main office is in downtown Santa Cruz, with a second in Soquel. Therapy sessions are conducted via telehealth or in person at the client's preference.

Job Type:

• Part-time, 10-20 hours per week

Benefits:

• 40 hours of sick pay per year

Pay:

• LMFT hourly rate $33.00 + $3 bilingual differential

• LCSW hourly rate $35.00 + $3 bilingual differential
