Hospitality Confidential is pleased to present an exciting Senior Graphic Designer opportunity with a fast-growing, design-forward consumer wellness brand based in Santa Monica. This role is based in a hybrid capacity (3 days onsite) and is responsible for leading the execution of high-impact visual design across digital, web, and physical product packaging. The brand is known for its premium positioning, innovative product design, and strong emphasis on visual storytelling across all touch points.
This position offers the opportunity to work closely with executive leadership and marketing to shape the visual identity of an award-winning, product-driven brand while supporting new product launches and ongoing creative initiatives.
About the Role
The Senior Graphic Designer will serve as a key creative contributor responsible for executing and elevating the brand’s visual identity across all channels. This role is highly hands-on and production-focused, requiring both conceptual thinking and meticulous attention to detail.
This position is ideal for a design-forward professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and enjoys working across both digital and physical mediums—from performance-driven marketing assets to high-end product packaging.
The Senior Graphic Designer will partner closely with marketing leadership and cross-functional teams, while also helping guide junior designers and external freelancers. The role requires the ability to move quickly, iterate efficiently, and maintain an exceptionally high standard of design quality across all deliverables.
Responsibilities
Creative Execution & Design
Develop high-quality visual assets across digital, web, email, and social channels
Design and execute performance-driven creative for marketing campaigns
Lead packaging design updates and new product launches, ensuring consistency across SKUs
Prepare production-ready files for both digital and print, including prepress and vendor specifications
Maintain and elevate overall brand identity through strong typography, layout, and composit ion
Brand & Visual Identity
Uphold and evolve a premium, design-first brand aesthetic across all touch points
Ensure consistency across product lines, campaigns, and platforms
Contribute to the visual direction of new launches and brand initiatives
Collaboration & Workflow
Partner closely with marketing, leadership, and cross-functional teams
Present concepts and iterate quickly based on feedback
Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Support and collaborate with junior designers and freelance resources
Production & Iteration
Execute multiple design concepts efficiently under tight timelines
Balance speed with precision, ensuring all deliverables meet high-quality standards
Work across both digital design tools and print production workflows
Qualifications / Requirements
5+ years of professional graphic design experience
Experience in consumer goods, wellness, or D2C brands strongly preferred
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
Strong experience with digital design tools such as Figma
Proven expertise in packaging design and working with dielines and print production
Exceptional visual design skills with a strong sense of typography, layout, color, and composition
Ability to maintain consistency across multiple product lines and brand assets
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently while managing multiple prioritie s
Preferred / Bonus Skills:
Photography and/or video editing experience
Experience working in performance marketing environments
Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary Range: $90,000–$110,000 (flexible based on experience)
