Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for patients in short-stay/acute care environments according to the nursing process and established standards of care.
- Monitor patient status, document findings, administer medications and treatments as prescribed, and respond to changes in condition.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff on the unit.
- Coordinate care with other disciplines to ensure comprehensive patient management and discharge planning.
- Apply critical thinking, professional judgment, and supervisory discretion in daily nursing operations.

Requirements
- Active registered nurse license in California.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience in an acute care or inpatient setting (travel experience preferred).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced short-stay/acute care environment and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
- ADN or BSN degree from an accredited nursing program.
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills; comfortable supervising staff and coordinating patient care.
